One of Auscon's core business elements is metal recycling. We are currently one of the only major West Australian owned and operated scrap metal companies. Recycling steel scrap, aluminium, brass, copper, radiators we also buy and sell all types of plant and machinery.

Auscon produce their own aluminium remelt ingots for re-use in local foundries and also conduct exports. Indonesia has imported scrap metal from us for manufacturing into new steel, to the ports of both Semerang and Surabaya .

We have a fairly diverse fleet of machinery for processing and handling scrap (i.e. steel cutting shears, grapples, magnets and cranes from 8 to 60 tonne). We also operate the only privately owned pre-compression shear in Western Australia .

Auscon's mobile processing machinery enables us to successfully process material suitable for export. With our independent transport facilities we are able to transport scrap metal on a state-wide basis.
